About Charlie

Charlie was raised in central Connecticut and attended the University of New Hampshire. While he heard the gospel at least once before high School, he heard it several times at UNH, but never responded. In 1978 Charlie joined the Navy and was eventually assigned to a minesweeper in Portland, Maine. There he responded to the gospel and accepted the Lord as his Savior.

After several years the Lord called Charlie to full time ministry and he resigned from active duty to attend Seminary at Bob Jones University. Following graduation with a M. Div. and retirement from the Navy Reserve Charlie went to Arizona to work at Regeneration Reservation, a mission to the Western Apache.

Then I met Joan...

Since then we have ministered together in pastoral ministry in Maine for over 11 years. Before we were married the plan was to look for a pastoral ministry and if the Lord closed that door, seek a missionary one. Since seminary I have had a burden for training national pastors. The Lord has used my time at Regeneration Reservation and as a pastor to season and deepen me in preparation for the ministry of  teaching in Bible institutes and colleges around the world.
